long does takes install vista

how long does it takes to install vista

i own a mid-range home pc intel 2.4GHz, Intel D845gebv2 motherboard built in graphics, 512 MBDDR RAM . i recently downloaded vista beta 2 and tried to install it. after entering the product key the computer becomes idle although the mouse cursor seems to moving. after that it just stays like that. what might be the problem. is my hardware incapable of running vista beta 2 or is the install image i downloaded is corrupt. i also tried booting directly from the iso image in VMWARE, but the same problem persists. what may be the problem? is it that the system i bought in 2002 is incapable of running vista or it is anything else. please comment.

Well, does depend, but normally Beta 2 takes about 1hr-3hrs give or take :o)
